The SEO Manager develops, plans, and executes our global and sustainable SEO strategy across multiple product categories. You are responsible for our own SEO projects as well as for the acquisition, support and development of our SEO partners.
You will work closely with our paid marketing team, partner management, product, and functional operations teams. This role is a unique opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the rapid growth of betterbusiness and that of our partners.
Please note, this team is based in European time zones, and we are specifically looking for people to join us in these time zones ±2 hours only.
Strategic Responsibilities

Develop, plan, execute our sustainable SEO strategy on- and off page

Own and optimize ROI of SEO projects (internal and external)
Operational Responsibilities

Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects

Identify, establish long-term partnership with and steer external SEO partners

Conduct keyword research to guide external content teams

Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes

Manage creation and optimization of website content, landing pages and search copy

Collect data and report regularly and adhoc on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

Skills needed

Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role handling partnerships aspects in this domain

Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices

Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
