The Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for establishing and developing the relationships with partners, for example partners operating website builders as well as hosting products globally. This role brings our innovative performance based lead generation capabilities to the most ambitious and sustainably growing players, thereby helping millions of SMEs find and select their products and services.

Please note, this team is based in European time zones, and we are specifically looking for people to join us in these time zones ±2 hours only.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Maximize sustainable impact for our partners, our users, and betterbusiness

  • Revenue generation through establishing new and growing partnerships

  • Developing the partnerships craft and skills within our company

Operational Responsibilities

  • Develop & manage partnerships portfolio within the website builders & hosting verticals

  • Identify growth and revenue opportunities within existing and new partnerships

  • Acquire & onboard new partners

  • Run partner experiments in close collaboration with our cross-functional team to identify additional growth opportunities

Skills needed

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in partnerships and business development in the technology/software industry in markets like US, GB, ANZ, DACH, France, Spain, or LATAM

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Stakeholder management (internal and external)

  • High degree of data literacy

  • Avid negotiator

  • Fluent/native in English

  • Leading through influence, not hierarchy


Other considerations include

  • Self-starter, highly organized, creative, fun, believer in building long-term relationships

  • Experience in Online Advertising a plus

  • German language skills a plus

Interview Process

At betterbusiness, we care a lot about who we hire. In order to create the most impact for our partners, we need to build high performing teams. Our recruitment process consists of four stages:

  1. Application

  2. Initial 15-30 minute conversation with the hiring manager

  3. Meet the team: 3 interviews up to one hour each with the hiring manager and co-workers. Depending on the role, we may ask how you would solve a problem and present your solution to the team

  4. Decision
